Dear Colleagues,
I am excited to invite you to this year’s Annual Meeting — an invaluable opportunity to reconnect, network and engage in meaningful discussions with Society members and fellow physicians.
Our House of Delegates (HOD) will convene on Wednesday, April 30 (virtual session) and Saturday, May 17 (in-person session) to shape policies that impact health care, physicians, patients, and our Society.
The Society is committed to continually enhancing our work and engagement with our dedicated members. Beginning with the 2025 Annual Meeting, we will pilot a new approach to scheduling Reference Committee meetings to encourage greater participation. These virtual hearings will take place in the evenings on Thursday, May 1, and Monday, May 5, at varying times to accommodate different schedules. You may view the schedule here.
Please join us on the evening of Friday, May 16, for our President’s Reception, The Annual Member Art Exhibit, and the Presidential Inauguration and Awards Ceremony, where we will honor our MMS award recipients and celebrate the inauguration of our incoming president, Olivia C. Liao, MD, FACS. I hope to see you at the President’s Reception to commemorate this momentous occasion.
