Waltham – Dr. Robert G. Nahill has been honored by his peers of the Plymouth District Medical Society as the district’s 2019 Community Clinician of the Year, an honor recognizing his contributions and professionalism as a physician.
Dr. Nahill is a pulmonologist in Plymouth and is affiliated with multiple hospitals in the area, including Boston Medical Center and Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth.
Dr. Nahill was recognized for his initiation of the pulmonary department at Plymouth’ s Jordan Hospital, clinical excellence, and his decades of patient care, hospital work, mentoring of new physicians, and many community services.
The Community Clinician of the Year Award was established in 1998 by the Massachusetts Medical Society to recognize a physician from each of the organization’s 20 district societies who has made significant contributions to his or her patients and the community.
The
Massachusetts Medical Society (MMS) is the statewide professional
