Massachusetts Medical Society: Important Notice for MMS members

Important Notice for MMS members

MMS Limited Website Functionality

Beginning October 14 at approximately 3 p.m. and extending to on or about October 20, the Massachusetts Medical Society website will have limited functionality because of a scheduled installation of a new member database system.

The new membership system is called Abila netFORUM Enterprise and is a leader in providing solutions in the association industry.  We are excited about the rich capabilities that will help our staff address your needs more efficiently and build a more engaging and personal experience for you.

Please be aware that during the installation period:

  • You will not be able to view member-only content.
  • You will not be able to use MMS Connect (formerly e-Communities).
  • You will not be able to take online CME courses.
  • You will not be able to access the “My CME” portal to view current credit hours or download CME certificates.
  • You will be able to renew your dues, but only by completing a PDF or telephoning our Customer Service Department at 800-843-6356.
  • You will be able to register for live events, but only by filing out a PDF and mailing it, faxing it, or e-mailing us a scanned completed document.
  • You will be able to register for the 2016 Interim Meeting activities.
  • On October 20th, from 6 to 9 a.m., the site will be unavailable.

PLEASE NOTE:  The first time you log into our website after we launch the new database, you will be required to reconfirm your password.  You may enter the same password you are currently using, and you will be asked to reconfirm it OR you may enter a new password, and you will likewise be asked to confirm it. This process should take less than one minute.  After logging in, you may continue to use the rest of the site.

If you have any questions, or if you need assistance, please contact our Customer Service Department by phone at 800-843-6356 or by e-mail at webmaster@mms.org.

Thank you for your patience and understanding during this period.
