Massachusetts Medical Society: The Impact of War on Health, Human Rights, and the Environment

The Impact of War on Health, Human Rights, and the Environment

The Impact of War on Health, Human Rights, and the Environment

War causes injury, disease, and premature death. It adversely affects mental health. It violates human rights. It damages civilian infrastructure and forcibly displaces populations. It contaminates the environment. This online course (recorded June 13, 2024) will provide learners with a heightened awareness and specific knowledge to understand and help address these impacts of war. Distinguished faculty explore the impacts of war on health, human rights, and the environment.
